(nose tip, ears), paint rubbed off, place of repair (backside on the upper rim), on metal base

wood, dark brown patina, the facial plane dyed with yellow ochre, of oval hollowed form with a flattened facial plane, marked by narrow eyes and flat eyebrows, creating a "ferocious" gaze, completed by a slit-like mouth and a prominent chin, slightly dam. (nose, ears), paint rubbed off, on metal base; the Makua live in the north-eastern part of Mozambique, together with the Lomwe they make about half of the population of Mozambique.

metal, a curved, double-edged blade with raised middle ridge, the hilt stud with punched metal sheet, an amulet with arab letters attached, the wooden scabbard decorated with elaborate punched metal sheet, the back stretched with blue fabric, a broad embroidered belt for attachment, min. dam., slight signs of usage; the Arab knife "jambia" is found in every country in which the Arabs have lived. Each country has its own modification of the shape of the blade, form of the hilt and scabbard, but all recognizable as belonging to the same family. The different form s of hilt an scabbard are more characteristic of the localities from which they come than the shapes of the blades.
