Dear Customers,

We would like to draw your attention to our online catalogue which is now available http://www.tribal-art-auktion.de/en/catalogue159.

You have been informed about the Kuba mask of Carl Einstein from the collection Georg Neuner, Munich, (lot 170) by invitation and on our website.

Today we would like to point to some more objects of special interest:
Among lot 173 you will find an important Bakongo figure from Paris collectors like Alain Rime, France Bernard Dulon and Alain de Monbrison (publ. in: Raoul Lehuard, Art Bakongo, Les Centres De Style, Sec. Vol., Sarcelles 1989, p. 596).

Another interesting object is a classic Punu mask with a nice shaped coiffure (lot 167).
Moreover there are two Dan masks of fine quality: lot 80, Provenance Bernard de Grunne (Brussels) and lot 81, Provenance Frank Barton and William Brill, both from New York.
An Austral Islands paddel, unique for its size and quality can be found under lot 25. It once belonged to a private british collection.
From the August Flick collection there is an old shrunken head (lot 36).

In addition we are also offering a fine selection of objects from the Ivory Coast: among them a Baule figure (lot 74) from the Master of Sakassou (between 1840 and 1880) or his workshop as well as a fine Baule mask (lot 70).
