wood, most parts coated with animal hide, in form of a jointed doll with arms and legs separately carved, surmounted by a proportionally large head with expressive facial features, open mouth with single teeth, min. dam., tears and missing parts (hide), base;
the Anyang are a small ethnic group living in the western area of the Cameroon Grassfields, east of the Boki along the northern banks of the Cross River. They use similar dance crests, as usual for the rest of the Crossriver area.
