wood, reddish brown paint, colour accents in black and white, the head widely projecting to the back, compressed facial features, ritually "shaved" coiffure arranged in four stripes, abundant scarification marks, drilled pupils, slightly dam., abrasion (lower rim).
A "gelede" mask by the same hand, ex Armand Arman Collection, was auctioned at Zemanek-Münster in 2011.
