Wood, encrusted patina in some places, base
This beautiful hermaphrodite figure is carved in clear cubist forms.
On the front, the surface is very much marked by weathering in exposed areas, which adds to the expressive effect of the figure. The back must have been protected from the weather, there are linear engravings on the back of the head that once represented hairstyle or headgear.
