a) pair of ear studs, Nepal, Tamang, brass, convex discs, worked in repoussé technique, with central cabochons of turquoise fragments, d: 6.3 cm, weight: 51 g (pair)

b) pair of ear studs "tarkulia", India, Madhya Pradesh / Nepal, Rai, silver, convex discs worked in repoussé technique, chased, with silver chain, d: 6.3 (7.9) cm; weight: 43 g (pair)

Discs with embossed rays as a sun symbol have been handed down from ancient times for the Indus region, but the ear jewellery "tarkulia" is also worn by Rai women in Nepal.

c) wedding necklace "tilhari", Nepal, multi-stranded, green miniature glass beads, central cast element made of gold, 12 carat, L: 4.5 cm, D: 1.1 cm, old threading, worn, L: 52 cm, G: 47 g (total)

The central cylindrical element of the "tilhari" wedding necklaces was made of different materials depending on the social status of the wearer: Gold for women from wealthy families, gold-plated or silver for those with limited financial means.
