The art of the Nkanu is mainly related to initiation "nkanda".
The most prominent are the large high relief panels adorned with anthropomorphic or zoomorphic carvings that cover the walls of the three-sided "kikaku" hut.
Figures are extremely rare to find. According to Felix they could be ancestor figures.
