mid- to end of the 1st millennium B.C.

brass, encrusted patina, traces of corrosion, base; presumably depicting "Osiris", in shape of a pharaoh with "atef" crown, crook (symbol of the good shepard) and flail (symbol of fertility). He is commonly depicted green (the color of rebirth) or black (alluding to the fertility of the Nile floodplain), in mummiform, wearing the trappings of mummification from chest downward.
