wood, dark brown patina, elongated, dish-shaped ladle, the massive handle carved with a ram head, incised ornaments on the underside, dam., minor missing part through insect caused damage (rams head), cracks;
occasionally the spoons were carved with cow or rams heads, giving a hint on the domestic animals, slaughtered at big festivities in order to provide an adequate meal for the guests.
