wood, blackish brown patina, traces of white pigment, remains of plant fibre, with tall coiffure superstructure, crowned by oval disc carved with Eket-typical "sun motif", upturned nose, semicircular skin scarifications along face rim, crossbar on the backside for fixing the mask with the teeth, traces of old age, slightly dam. (nose), missing parts (coiffure, drilled holes around rim), abrasion of paint; possibly belonging to the very rare oval-shaped masks with tall coiffure superstructure which were in the possession of a prophesying society called "idiong" (compare Schädler, 2009, p. 210).
